Rally for fair unemployment reform

Construction workers arrived 6,000 strong at the Indiana Statehouse on April 27, 2009 to rally for fair reform of the state's troubled Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund. We achieved our goal, which was to let legislators know that working people are paying close attention to this issue.

1995 'prevailing wage' rally

In 1995, more than 20,000 union construction workers rallied at the Indiana Statehouse to voice their displeasure with a proposal to gut the state's Common Construction Wage Act (prevailing wage).
